How does the Flycamone2 save the video?
The cam works with an SD Memorycard. You need to put in a SD Memory Card (max. 2 GB Cards). The MemoryCard is not included. SD Cards are available at electronicstores. Most Digitalcameras use SD Memory Cards. SD Cards look like this. We recommend to buy quality cards, as the FlyCamOne2 need a minimum write speed.

How long can I record Video?
That is depending on the size of your memorycard. You can record approx. 40 Minutes on a 2GB Memory Card.
How do I watch my Videos?
The camera comes with an USB Cable to connect the camera to your Computer. Once connected to your computer, the camera is visible as a DiscDrive. You can download the videos to your computer and watch them with e.g. Media Player. The Cam is Macintosh compatible.
How can I make the lense move remote controlled?
The camera comes with an adapter to connect a servo to the Lense. You can than control the servo with a free channel on you remote control system.

How can I trigger the camera remotely?
Use the socket, connect a free channel from your remote control (switch) to the baseplate (comes with the camera). See Baseplate allocation for details. The only extra things you need for that is the remote control unit.
Can I use an external Power supply?
Yes you can. The camera comes with a baseplate to connect.
It has to be 5 Volt 350mA.
My SD Card does not stay in the camera
The SD Card has to be pushed fairly deep, until you hear "click". If not sure, please use a pen.
Is the camera Apple Macintosh (r) compatible?
Yes
Does heavy vibration affect the video quality?
Heavy vibration, e.b. from a gas engine can cause flickering. The FlyCamOne comes with foam velcro Pads to avoid these problems.
Does heavy acceleration affect the video quality?
No, acceleration is usually not a problem. Here is a video of the flycamoe2 on a rocket.
Heavy crashs can destroy the camera. No guarantee for any recording of crashs.
Some SD Cards do not work, why?
FlyCamOne2 requires a minimum sustained write speed of 9 megabytes (MB) per second. Few SD Cards are slower than that which causes ether complete malfunction or bad video quality. Use a faster card to avoid this problem.
I got weird green stripes in my video and the download from the cam took ages
This happens when the battery is empty while downloading video. Another possible reason is that the flat cable from the head is not firmly.
After a few minutes of recording the cam doesn't let me stop recording. Whats wrong?
This happens when the Memory Card is not able to handle the datastream. Use another memorycard.
Are there Problems in cold temperatures?
The operating time of the camera can be reduced. The external Battery Pack would be beneficial.
My Cam suddenly does not say anything at all any more.
If this happend after you connected it to a Computer, you can reawaken the camera easily by re-installing the firmware.
